National Novel Writing Month, or Nanowrimo, is an annual competition of sorts. You do not compete against anyone but yourself. The goal is to write 50,000 words during the month of November. You win no prizes except the knowledge and gratification of completing a project. I have tried several times to win, but only succeeded for the first time in 2014. I’m trying again this year. We will see how I do.
