Nanowrimo is still in progress and I am still on target for 50,000 words by the end of the month. I have absolutely no idea why I am still on target. After reading blog post and emails about it, I have to agree that week two was harder to get through. A couple of days I only reached my needed word count moments before the zero hour. As of November 15th, I am 25,125 words into my story. I am still surprised where the story takes me. I am still learning new things about my characters. I am trying hard not to overthink or preplan too much. I get up ever morning and write until I have to go to work. I come home every evening to write until I reached the necessary word count. It is all about getting the words down. I will not listen to my internal editor. I will not second guess what was writing the day before. That happens in December and beyond.

No. Scratch that. Luck should not have anything to do with it. If you want to do something, keep me honest. Ask me everyday what my word count is. That way I will have to press on if for no other reason than to shut you up.
